When you choose the 'export' option on the website, you are presented with two options to retrieve the file.

  1. Right-click and use 'Save Target As' to save the 'tourn.txt' file.
  2. Email the necessary data file to an email account of your choosing.

METHOD 1: If you chose to download the file directly from the website, you will be given an option to select a location on your computer to save the file. Once you select the appropriate options, you will have a file named 'tourn.txt' located on disk and you may skip the next section and go onto the next step: Import the entries.

METHOD 2:If you chose to send the entries as an email message, you will want to open the email message that is sent from the website. The following example will demonstrate this process using Microsoft Outlook. Any email client will work as long as you are able to save the files attached to the email message.

Find the option from the menu that allows you to save the files attached to the email message. In Outlook, this option is located on the 'File' menu. Selecting the File -> Save Attachments -> All Attachments option will bring up a dialog allowing you to save all of the files together. Any method of saving the attached file to disk will work.

The only file attached to the email message that you must save is named 'tourn.txt'. If any other files are attached to the message, they may be safely ignored.

Important Note: Make sure that when you save the 'tourn.txt' file that the name of the file you save is 'tourn.txt' if at all possible. The software will automatically locate this file and the process will work more smoothly if you are able to name the file 'tourn.txt'. If not, just make sure you remember the name of the file that you do save so that you can locate it later.

Keep in mind as you are saving the 'tourn.txt' file that you will need to know where you save the file on disk. The next step in this process will require you to open the file you are saving, so make sure you note where the file is being saved.
